There is a problem in localtime interpolations: it assumes that all inputs are valid whereas they could be "undefined" (e.g. -9.99e+33), as can happen when created using the zrecast utility.
This was fixed with r2215

- Tests done on r2217 version of the GCM still show this kind of issue when performing localtime on a previously zrecasted file
