at GCM level
- check/tuned value of Ar/N2 etc. in reference initial conditions at Ls=180, compared to Curiosity data (see newstart)
- call physics more often (iphysiq=5).
- Verify the CO2 cycle
- Check/re-tune He amount
- scavenging of dust & water by CO2 condensation; is it stable over multiple years?
- orographic GW (re-)tuning
- non-orographic GW tuning
- super-cycling of chemistry?
- sub-grid slope winds
- re-create climatology/cold/warm scenarios based on MY24->MY34 observations
- what do we do for global dust storms simulations? Impose dust opacity =5 like before (dust injection with a target of tau=5 caused problems for MCDv6.0alpha)?
- Improve the MCD software (make it a module/library)?
