Description
Currently, the D/H ratio of the north polar cap (i.e. where watercaptag=true) is hard coded as 5 VSMOW (see hdo_surfex_mod). An improvement would be to read the value in callphys.def.
It would have a default value, but could easily be changed by the user without needing to recompile everything.
This would be of particular interest for paleoclimates (I think).
