    11With recent additions in the code, writediagsoil outputs (sub-surface values) are on by default (used to be commented out in the code).
    22It would be worth having a flag in callphys.def, e.g. diagsoil=true/false to control whether these outputs should be done or not.

     4Done in r2916 there is now the "diagsoil" flag to trigger outputting a diagsoil.nc file
